Times Table Championship

This week saw the inaugural Times Table Competition for years 7, 8 and 9. The event took place in the Theatre with the whole year group being involved. 

There were 4 rounds of maths puzzles which went towards a team score, followed by a timed final where individuals fought for the title of 2016 Times Table Champion of their year.

The final winners were well deserved:

Year 7 - Liam Blackburn

Year 8 - Kyle Stepp

Year 9 - Sam Jordan

Sam was the overall winner with an amazing 19 correct answers in 30 seconds.

All the pupils really enjoyed it and we are all looking forward to next year’s competition.
