A challenge was sent to teachers to design a sweet treat that would represent their faculty area, and then bake their creation under controlled conditions.

The Languages entry from Miss Barrett and Miss Thompson was a rather imaginative representation of the Eiffel Tower. The Performing & Visual Arts team of Mrs Lewis, Mr Gray and Miss Fegan produced a very artistic stage complete with curtains and a cupcake orchestra, while Miss Siddon from Food Technology created a mouthwatering pizza cake.

Despite fierce competition and some intense rivalry, and even a few ingredients being ‘mislaid’, everyone rolled up their sleeves and donned their aprons and came out with some tasty creations.
