Students excel at GCSE English

More outstanding results for Year 11

Barbara Freeman / Categories: News

107 of our Year 11 students took their GCSE English examination in November and when students opened their envelopes last Wednesday morning they were delighted with the results:

  • an outstanding 25% attained grades A*/A
  •
  • 93% attained grades A* to C
  •
  • 98% made the expected levels of progress from their KS2 baseline with 50% of students exceeding the expected level of progress from their KS2 baseline.

Once again, we are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication that went into this success, which will go a long way towards their overall results at the end of the summer.
