Business students visit Stanton House Hotel

Barbara Freeman / Categories: News

Over 70 of our Year 11 Business Studies students visited Stanton House Hotel on Tuesday 6th October. Students were introduced to the company by the Administration Manager and discovered how the organisation is managed, what the various job roles within the business involve and how the business motivates and rewards its staff.

Students were then taken on a tour of the hotel including the guest rooms, the restaurant and the reception area. During the tour students got the opportunity to talk to members of staff about their job roles and experiences of working in the hotel.

The Year 11s will use the information they gathered during the trip to create their controlled assessment back in school.

We are very grateful to Stanton House Hotel for allowing us this opportunity.
