Best ever GCSE results for Nova Hreod Academy
Students and staff at Nova Hreod Academy are celebrating after achieving yet another increase in GCSE results. 72% of students achieved at least a 4 in both English and maths. Overall, 71% of students achieved five good GCSEs including English and maths – up from 66% last year.
Among many outstanding achievements, there were some notable successes, including Louise Aust who achieved four 9s, three 8s, and two 6s. Louise is going on to study A Levels at Cirencester College. Gemma Giles achieved 9s in English Language, Literature and Mathematics, together with a further two 8s, two 7s, and a 6. Gemma will start her A Level studies at New College in September. Hope West also achieved three 9s, together with two 8s, two 7s, and a 6. Well done also to Jacob Stockall, who achieved 9s in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, two 8s, two 7s and a 6, and plans to do a Maths degree after his A Levels; and Ashley Green, who achieved a 9 in Physics, five 8s and two 7s.
