An Adventure in Paris
A group of 30 Year 10 languages scholars enjoyed their long weekend in Paris during which they took part in many different excursions and activities. These scholars did an incredible job of using their language skills during the journey. These came in handy for the visit to the market where they had to buy ingredients for their lunch; during the quizzes on our way to Paris; and during the crêpe making evening. Scholars were keen to try lots of different things, including some snails one night at dinner!
Paris was particularly enchanting this year given that the city are hosting the Olympic Games this summer. We enjoyed looking around the sites and seeing the layout for the games, but nothing impeded on our walk up the Eiffel Tower, visit to the Louvre and our boat tour of the city.
Interested in taking part in a similar trip? The MFL team are currently organising a similar one for next year, therefore keep an eye out on epraise and in school for more information.
