Battle of the Bands

Three bands from Nova Hreod Academy entered the combined Nova and Swindon Academy Battle of the Bands held at Swindon Academy. KS3 band The Rebel Yells performed Rolling In The Deep by Adele with Milo on drums, Lee on guitar, Gabriel on bass, Cole on keyboard and Jasmine on vocals.

 

In the second half, 24 Fallen performed All the Small Things by Blink 182 with Shaun and Samuel on guitar, Jack on bass, Jacob on drums, Bryony and Grace supplying backing vocals and Liam fronting the band. The pupil performances were rounded off with year 11 band Anaphora performing Misery Business by Paramore with Jasmin and Callum on guitar, Katie-May on bass, Kane on drums with Louise and Maisey on vocals.

 

All three of the Nova bands conducted themselves professionally and sounded fantastic, with tons of musicality and attitude. The winners of the evening were 24 Fallen.
